Pressure testing is a method used to verify the strength and leak-resistance of a vessel, pipe, or system under pressure. It involves applying a specified amount of pressure, usually greater than the system design pressure, to detect leaks or weaknesses.

This inspection provide an unbiased assessment of the pressure test or represent the client to witness the pressure test whereby it is specified as HOLD POINT in the ITP.
